Hello everyone.
This saturday there was a big event in Ukraine. A drag chempionship with a prize 15000 USD in Unlimited class. The VTG Corvette was visiting Kiev for this event. During qualifications it ran 10.6 and was second right after Nissan Skyline R32 with 10.16 time. Both of them was runing not full throttle and boost.
In finals there was 4 runs Corvette vs Skyline. First run corvette won by 5-10 meters but Sky hit the plastic post on the way to the finish. second run it was a tie because there was no video cameras on the finish and the time-tree was off. third run corvette looses his hood on the last meters but was loosing anyways during whole run. and on the last 4th run skyline won by a lot with some major engine problems on corvette after all.

The estimate time of corvette and skyline during final runs was 9,5-9,8 at least.

The race track was in very bad condition and you will be able to see how hard it was for the drivers to controll the cars on the track.

have you got some regulations and the start rules (english or russian please) or it is a freestyle?

"The race track was in very bad condition... " - look for other, local military airports, that is the big country

"estimate time" - do not write something like that, who cares about the estimated time of something

It was not the local military airport it was a test airport at the factory of AH airplanes. Zavod imeni Antonova. you probably heard of it:)

About the time, the driver of the Corvette said that his g-metter mesured 9.2 sec and he never ran that fast in Poland on his car.
And BTW the time is always estimated because of the altitude, the direction and how streight the track is and so many conditions that affect the time of the same car runing same way on different tracks and showing different times. That is why we care. $)

Anyways we hope to see some more fast cars from Poland next time we have a drag event in the end of august or begining of september.

myślałem że padne, na początku myślałem że to jakiś wynik meczu piłkarskiego...
ogólnie GS zrobiłeś małe zamieszanie na Ukrainie, niech się cieszą wygraną, jak podniesiesz moc w vette do planowanych 1200-1300 rwhp to żarty się skończą
tylko ta nawierzchnia...jedna wielka katastrofa...
