Hi all!
We are from Latvia! This year have plans to visit your country as well!
and have some question about your Regulations:
7.2.b
have a Polish drag racing license (the WR license) or other sports license issued by the PMA or foreign license/permit

We have license from FIA, is it enough, or we need some other?

9.2.2
Replacing or attaching non-serial elements of body is allowed. These elements have to be made of fiberglass, carbon fiber, kevlar or polycarbonate and be at least 2 mm thick. Elements mentioned above must be immovable and securely fixed with metal braces or screwed on. Drivers door can be replaced if a safety cage mounted. Drivers door must be able to open and close

If you have Drivers door from other material, you have to fit safety cage, or you can make tube inside the door only?

9.2.13.
Non-serial fuel tank can be placed only at the original mounting point, in the trunk or inside the rear fenders (but not on the same side as engine) and has to be immovable. The fuel tank has to be made of incombustible material. Fuel wires have to be made of metal or have the metal isolation.

In one car we have fuel tank in front passenger place, other one is in the boot on the passenger side!
Is it agree with your regulation or not?

thanks in forward

You don't want the fuel tank inside with you if there is a fire
It should be in the back and with a metal panel separating it from the driver. The tank from an old 1960's VW was often adapted to other cars.

Good questions!
I take the oportunity to ask some too.
First. "2007 Polish Drag Racing Championships Regulations"
These are the general regulations nomatter if aiming to run Baltic cup or KOE?

7.2.b
have a Polish drag racing license (the WR license) or other sports license issued by the PMA or foreign license/permit

A license from Swedish Car Federation (SBF) would that be ok?

9.2.13.

Why this idea with having the fuel in the trunk?
As long as its covered by the body, and is inside the tube construction (if having one) and not in drivers compartement.
I have my fuel tank in aloy placed in front in my car, but it is surounded with tubes.
I also have a fire extinguisher-system in my car...
...and my car is fully aproved to run 7,5s-passes by the Swedish Car Federation (SBF).
Tank installation looks like this: http://www.carmaniacs.net/wok/2006/bsm- ... rudolf.jpg

Once you look at cars that are no longer street cars, fuel tanks often end up in front...

do not worry Tom! Polish rules are a 100 times more liberal than latvian - I know this by experience. Where ever you go in the europe with any car over 9 second 1/4 mile, rules will be more forgiving than latvian ones. Because latvia is only one country in the world where rules of drag racing are made by non-drag racers. Just go there, you definitely will enjoy races in Poland.
